Concern Process. The Airworthiness Concern Process (ACP) is a cooperative information-sharing initiative between industry and the FAA intended to increase industry participation in the development of airworthiness issues before (or in lieu of) a proposed or final airworthiness directive (AD) for an aircraft.

Guidelines are given based on processes and sound engineering practices currently used within the aerospace industry. This report is intended to advance the work that has been done through previous Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs, such as the Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiment (AGATE).
